Since 2009, Laini Fluellen Charities (LFC) has been unwavering in its commitment to fight breast cancer, focusing on education, advocacy, and research. As we aim to expand our impact through strategic partnerships, we are grateful to count you among our valued supporters. Together, we can create a significant difference in breast cancer education, training, screenings, and innovative treatments.

Mark your calendars for the 12th Annual LFC Pink Tie Affair, our primary fundraising event, taking place on Friday, October 20, 2023, at the prestigious Hard Rock Casino in Gary, IN. Our objective for this event is to raise $100,000 to support local Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) initiatives, which include vital programs such as:

• Providing local mammogram subsidies for indigent patients
• Supporting local TNBC research through the Community Cancer Research Foundation
• Offering Beth’s Bags, comprehensive medical planners and journals, to newly diagnosed breast cancer patients in 3 local hospitals, assisting them in navigating their treatment plans.
• Conducting Know Your Lemons breast health education classes, free of charge, for community groups, employers, and providers.

In the past, A Pink Tie Affair has entertained around 400 guests at in-person galas. However, this year, with the support of the Hard Rock, we have the opportunity to double our capacity and reach, making it a bold and unique chance to raise TNBC awareness and showcase your philanthropic support to a much larger audience.
